“Children are ceaselessly curious from infancy, and they express a strong desire to learn from their environment. The role of a teacher in the classroom is to create a welcoming and soothing learning environment that will not only encourage children to express themselves but also help them build their self-confidence. My main goal as a teacher is to provide children with a rich environment where they feel safe to explore, initiate learning, and feel free to interact with their peers. In this process, I will be endeavoring to guide children from needing assistance with a task to accomplishing that task independently by providing exercises that are challenging, yet achievable for every child. I strive to make this ongoing learning journey safe, positive and fun for them. I hope to support children as best as I can as they embark on their journey to biliteracy! ”
